I'm walking 100km this October to support Samaritans.

Samaritans is a charity close to my heart that offers a lifeline to people in crisis, 24/7.
All funds raised support Samaritans' lifesaving work in Ireland & Northern Ireland, and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.

Saturday 1st Nov With heartfelt gratitude to you for supporting Daisy 🐾 & I. ❤️ We have raised €1337 for our October challenge for Walkies for Wellbeing @ the Samaritans. What an achievement 🌟 Your generosity & kindness will help so many people in need of the 24/7 support services that are available to help. It may be someone we don’t know, a family member, a friend or a colleague. There are no distinctions when it comes to personal challenges or mental health. We all need to be supportive, kind, understanding & empathetic. Thank you Mum, E & M for helping us get to the 100 km 🌟 & so thankful to everyone for your support & kindness. Sunday 19th Oct This morning’s walk was an immensely sad one & a reminder of life’s fragility. We set off early for our walk only to meet search & rescue volunteers starting today’s search for a missing person who entered the river a few days ago. Speaking with some of the group & a family member was truly heartbreaking. We offered our help & we assisted in searching the rocks, seaweed & water. Times like this shine a light on the fragility of life & the incredible work of rescue services, volunteers & charities who help & support others in times of need & crisis. We can all play a part in whatever way we can.

Wednesday 8th Oct As the saying goes “It takes a village to raise a family”. (NK)🌟 Equally It takes a caring ‘community’ & ‘great people’ working together to bring a fundraiser to life & to make it succeed. So to you all thank you for your overwhelming support & kindness to our fundraiser for the Samaritans. We look forward to the coming weeks ahead doing the best we can to clock up the KMs & fundraise whilst enjoying time in nature for a worthy cause.
