The 24-Hour Challenge (NI)

Support my 24-Hour Crafting Challenge for Samaritans!

I'm taking part in The 24-Hour Crafting Challenge to support Samaritans, a charity close to my heart that offers a lineline to people in crisis, 24/7.

This cause matters deeply to me – and I’d be so grateful if you could be part of it.

I will be knitting, crocheting, making macrame, possibly making seed balls and other things which take my fancy.

All funds raised here will support Samaritans' lifesaving work in Northern Ireland, and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.

I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. All donations are processed securely.

Thank you for supporting me and supporting Samaritans.

Update

Friday 24th Jul
I struggled in the night to keep awake and ended up deciding to go to sleep at 4.30am after starting the challenge at 9am.

I continued to craft when I got up and have done a few projects today.

Sad I couldn't manage the whole 24 hours but happy with what I was able to do and to be able to support a great organisation!

Scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, flower-arranging, icing a cake, colouring and macrame!

24-hr Challenge - BRING IT ON!

Tuesday 21st Jul
So I have decided, after pondering a bit, that I WILL do the 24-hr MARATHON and not simply split the hours across July (which I have been doing so far!) - which means I will likely complete ~48 hrs of crafting in total across the whole month.

So I will be knitting, crocheting, painting, baking etc from 00:00 on Friday to 00:00 on Saturday - pray for me!

Your donations are much appreciated and will go to some very important work.

Thanks again to all supporters so far 👟💰👍🏻💚🎉

Just finished this jumper!

First instalment of crafting

Monday 13th Jul
I have decided to break my 24-hour crafting session down across the month and so far have taken part in sewing scrunchies, painting, making 'seed boms', creating a 'living wall' or 'vertical garden', and scrapbooking - totalling 8 hours. I look forward to doing some crocheting and knitting. Here is a photo of the vertical garden!
