The 24-Hour Challenge (NI)

Support my 24-Hour Challenge for Samaritans!

If you know me well, you know that crafting is a bit of an obsession of mine, as well as my cat Tiggy!

I’ve decided to take  part in The 24-Hour Challenge to support Samaritans, a charity close to my heart that offers a lifeline to people in crisis, 24/7.

This cause matters alot to me because I’ve lost family members to suicide, and would really love your support to make sure there is always someone at the end of the phone to talk to.

All funds raised here will support Samaritans' lifesaving work and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.

I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. All donations are processed securely.

Thank you for supporting me and supporting Samaritans.

Preparing for my challenge

Monday 20th Jul
Oooh this is odd,I’ve never written a blog before. Apparently I’ve been told I’m good at writing , so will see how this turns out.
I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what I’m going to do during my challenge, 24hrs seems a long time. But it will probably go very quickly., I’m unsure yet whether I will do the challenge all in one  go. Or whether I will split it up, depends how tired I get, as my sleep patterns are pretty erratic at times. I’m currently writing this at 6.30am.
Tiggy has another trip to the vets this afternoon for a check up, I’m  hoping the meds have worked. He certainly looks happier.

Over the weekend I went to a crochet meet up, and managed to achieve doing one round on my blanket, took me ages to get the pattern worked out.

I also got my sewing machine out for the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed spending time on it again. I’m currently making some bags for the N&N palliative care team.
Hoping to do some more during my 24hrs challenge too.

I think that’s all I’ve got to say for now, except have a great Monday and thank you all so much for sponsoring me.

I will do another blog soon.
I’m planning on doing my challenge on 31st July.

Thank you to my Sponsors
