Walk 100km with your dog in October and support Samaritans’ mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.

Ready for a challenge that’s good for you and your best friend?

This October, grab the lead and take on 100km with your dog while raising vital funds for Samaritans and helping us work towards a future where fewer lives are lost to suicide.

Whether it’s a quick morning stroll, a lunchtime wander or a big weekend adventure, every walk counts. You’ll be getting active, spending quality time together and supporting your own wellbeing along the way.

October is Mental Health Month, so it’s the perfect time to get moving, start conversations and do something positive for yourself and others.

Raise €20 and we’ll send you an exclusive Walkies for Wellbeing T-Shirt!

So what are you waiting for? Grab your dog, grab the lead and let’s get those tails wagging!

How do I take part?

Register

Your personal fundraising page is created when you register. It takes just a couple of minutes to register and the details you enter will be added to your fundraising page which you can then share to accept donations

Collect donations

Ask your friends and family to donate by sharing the link to your fundraising page on Whatsapp, social media, email, etc. We'll send you a t-shirt after your page gets its first donation. Many people make the first donation themselves.

Get walking!

Walk 100km throughout October – that’s 3-4km per day (or 4,000-6,000 steps). You can walk every day, most days, or go on long weekend hikes – whatever works for you and your dog. It's a good idea to provide updates on your progress.
