24 Hour YES Day for Samaritans

On 24th July, I'm taking on a 24 Hour YES Day in support of Samaritans' 24/7 Challenge.

The campaign marks Samaritans Awareness Day and highlights the fact that Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for anyone who needs someone to listen. Every day, thousands of people reach out for support, knowing there will be someone there at the other end of the phone, no matter the time.

For my challenge, I'll be saying "yes" to Ellie and Oscar for 24 hours (within reason! 😅). Whether it's extra ice cream, one more swim, a later bedtime or a spontaneous adventure, I'll be saying yes and making the most of the day with them.

As a parent, it's easy to get caught up in the busyness of everyday life. This challenge is a reminder to slow down, be present, listen and make time for the people who matter most - values that sit at the heart of what Samaritans do every single day.
