🎨💚 And we’re off! My 24-Hour Craft & Art Challenge for Samaritans starts NOW! 💚🎨
The canvases are white, the brushes are ready, the coffee is within reach... and I have 24 hours ahead of me. 😅☕
I think the first brushstroke might be the hardest one. Once it’s there, there’s no going back. So here we go! 🖌️
But today isn’t really about what I manage to create. It’s about why I’m creating it.
Every day, people contact Samaritans because they’re struggling, overwhelmed, lonely, or simply need someone to listen. Sometimes having another human being there at the other end of the phone can make an enormous difference.
So for the next 24 hours, while I paint, craft, get covered in acrylics, drink far too much coffee and probably question my life choices somewhere around 3am 🤣, I’ll be doing it for them. 💚
One canvas. One brushstroke at a time. One hour at a time.

I’m doing this again. 💚

Last time, I challenged myself with tablet weaving. This year… I’m stepping outside my comfort zone and picking up a paintbrush. 🎨

Because growth is uncomfortable. And so is asking for help.

That’s why I’m taking on the 24/7 challenge for Samaritans Ireland — so someone, somewhere, never has to feel alone in their hardest moment.
