Walkies for Wellbeing

Please support my 100km for Samaritans

Kali (canine) and I (human) are on a mission to end the stigma around mental health, fund support services and ultimately, to save lives lost to suicide. Sadly, we know too many people are struggling right now, and we know what its like to suffer mentally and emotionally too.

So every day in October, hail rain wind or snow, no matter our mood, our schedule, or what else is going on, we will be walking for wellbeing.

Time outdoors in nature is essential to our wellness, as I (Mags) always say, we are not separate to nature, we ARE nature. So 100k in October is completely achievable and in fact, essential for us.

Would you considering sponsoring us on this mission?

All funds raised support Samaritans' lifesaving work in the island of Ireland, and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.
You can follow along with us on Instagram www.instagram.com/wildsoulmagsyogi

We hope you can help us by donating whatever you can.

Thank you for supporting us and supporting Samaritans.

Mags and Kali xx

Bank holiday Walkies - Baltic !

Sunday 25th Oct
So Kali and I did our Walkies yesterday and I was absolutely freezing . I was not wearing enough clothes ! Lesson learned . I haven’t put kalis little coat on her yet this year but she’s a hardy 35kg boxer so she’s fine so far .

Every day on our walking for wellbeing we pass an apple tree and every day Kali checks if one has fallen off. It’s the highlight of her day . She eats the apple there and then or she brings it home and I chop it up and remove the core for her . I have asked the owners permission and also their neighbours as she checks their garden too for fallen apples.

I don’t know how she’s going to cope when autumn ends and there is no more apples! 🍎  🍏

On the homestretch

Thursday 22nd Oct
The month has flown by ! And we’ve experienced every weather on our walks. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who had donated so far. I know there are many many without causes but I think mental health is something we ALL can relate to. And this is your reminder to never feel any shame or hesitation about reaching out for help if you need it .

Thank you to my Sponsors
