I'm taking on a 24-hour crafting challenge to support Samaritans' lifesaving work in Ireland & Northern Ireland, and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.

All funds raised here will support Samaritans' branches across the island of Ireland to help them be there for everyone who needs them, 24/7.

One week to go!

Saturday 19th Jul
It's one week to go until I start my 24hr crafting marathon. I'm planning on getting up ready to start at 5am on Saturday 26th July. Hopefully I'll make it through until 5am Sunday morning, but if not I'll finish any leftover hrs during the day on Sunday. 

Crafting uses muscles in your hands and arms. Using them coninually for 24hrs will put strain on them and cause injury. As I enjoy crafting, and want to continue enjoying it for many yrs to come, I've decided to work on 6 projects over the course of the 24hr period. Changing the craft I'm working on will hopefully minimise the impact of the crafting marathon on my hands. You can check out pictures of the projects I'm planning on wording on in my gallery.
