This year, I’m taking part in Samaritans’ 24-Hour Challenge to raise funds for a cause that’s deeply personal to me.
When I was younger, I went through some really tough times — and Samaritans were there. They offered me a lifeline when I felt lost. Just being able to talk to someone who listened without judgement made all the difference.
Today, I’m in a better place, and I’m proud to give back by supporting their life-saving work.
Last year, I took on a sponsored silence (yes, a full 24 hours without talking — not easy for me!). It raised €550 and helped kick off what has now become its own theme: Shush for Samaritans — a quiet challenge that speaks volumes.

The Quietest Start to Something Powerful – Shush for Samaritans Begins!
Wednesday 25th JunI'm officially back for this year’s Samaritans 24-Hour Challenge — and I couldn’t be more proud to kick things off.
Last year, I took on a sponsored silence and raised €550 for Samaritans Ireland. What started as a personal act of gratitude has now become a full campaign theme: Shush for Samaritans — and I’m honoured to be part of it again.
