Support my 24-Hour Challenge for Samaritans!
I'm taking part in The 24-Hour Crafting Challenge fundraising for Samaritans, to represent the 24/7 support they offer to people in crisis. The overall goal across everyone partaking in the different 24-hour challenges is to raise 24,700 euros. My goal is to knit, sew and draw for 24 hours across the 23rd and 24th of July.
Samaritans is the only charity in Ireland offering emotional support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to anyone who is in distress, lonely, struggling to cope or feeling suicidal. Samaritans volunteers answered more than 570,000 calls for help last year.
All funds raised here will support Samaritans' lifesaving work in Ireland & Northern Ireland, and their mission of fewer lives lost to suicide.
